Courtney and Andrew's Wedding

A month ago Courtney and Andrew said I do and began their life together. The ceremony overlooked the Intercoastal Waterway and made a beautiful location for them to say their vows and for me to take their photographs! I had a great time, saw some old friends, and took a lot of photos.

    It has been a while since I had a chance to update my blog. There has been a lot going on in my world and unfortunately not a lot of photography. I got my Gifted and Talented endorsement, taught a class, and finally got my AP certification even though I should have been given that years ago. Alright, enough about me!
    I was so lucky that a family photog was unable to photograph this beautiful family and sent them my way. After 3 days of pouring rain during their beach vacation we were finally able to take some photographs! They were such a great family!

Sweet Carolina is taking her sweet time coming into the world but it is a good thing because I took her Mommy's photos just a few days before she was supposed to arrive!

I do the assignments I give my students....

I teach Digital Photography to 20 students at Carolina Forest High School. I expect a lot of them and give them weekly assignments. One week I decided I would assign 4 different but related projects and give them a little extra time to complete their work. Throughout the time they were given to work I kept hearing..."We don't have enough time..." So I decided I would join in on the projects and see just how little time they had. :) I started mine the weekend prior to the deadline...they had over 2 weeks. It was a completely new technique for both myself and my students. Guess who finished!? Here is what I took for some long exposure photography during the day.

We finally had a nice warm sunny day last weekend so I took Kailey outside for some painting. She didn't get nearly as dirty as I thought she would but she had a blast even still.
